Due to the advanced content of this training, Full EMDR Training by an EMDRIA approved provider is required of participants.

After completing this training, participants will be able to: 

• Define affect tolerance, window of tolerance, ego strength and state shift.
• Describe the structural dissociation model.
• Explain steps of Resource Development Protocol.
• Name at least 3 important RDIs to include in Phase 2 of EMDR.
• Demonstrate the ability to utilize Resource Development Protocol.
• Explain 3 presentations of successful Resource Development.
• Identify 4 indications that a client requires additional preparation before being ready for Resource Development Installation.
• List the appropriate steps to take after an unsuccessful attempt at Resource Development Installation.
• List at least 3 ways to increase the likelihood of successful Resource Development Installation.
• Conceptualize treatment plans for Phase 2 of EMDR to prepare clients for Phases 3-8 of EMDR.

This advanced training includes lecture and practicum components led by an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. The training focuses on treatment planning for Phase 2 of EMDR by increasing understanding of structural dissociation, affect tolerance and ego strength with an emphasis on conceptualizing the diagnostic value of Resource Development Installation. Full EMDR Training required.

After registration, you will receive a payment confirmation email that will provide you with access to course materials. These materials will not be available until the day of training. A Zoom Meeting link will be emailed to you separately prior to the day of training.

Yes, you will need to attend the entire training. Your attendance will be tracked via Zoom. Please keep your webcam on during all live training sessions. This is the equivalent of “being in the room” for an in-person training and is required for continuing education hours.

Mastering Phase 2: Resourcing, Treatment Planning & More will be brought to you by Jamie Sedgwick, LCPC, NCC. Jamie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor and has worked in the mental health field for 10 years. She has experience with a wide range of issues including PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and behavioral issues. She has interest in working with teens (age 15+) and adults. She specializes in Borderline Personality Disorder, attachment and complex PTSD with a passion for helping individuals learn and incorporate healthy skills to create a life worth living. She is trained in DBT and Neurofeedback and EMDR certified.
