Due to the advanced content of this training, Full EMDR Training by an EMDRIA approved provider is required of participants.

After completing this training, participants will be able to: 

1. Understand AIP Theory and how it applies to EMDR Therapy
2. Assess client readiness for EMDR Therapy
3. Implement Phases 1-8 of EMDR Therapy
4. Implement Recent Event Protocol
5. Implement Affect Stabilization Protocol
6. Understand how to address blocked processing

This training includes lecture and practicum components led by an EMDR Consultant. This training focuses on review of material covered in EMDR Basic Training, including: AIP Theory, Neurobiology of EMDR, Phase 1-8 and the following protocols: Resource Development Installation, Standard Protocol, Recent Event Protocol and Affect Stabilization Protocol. After registration, you will receive a payment confirmation email that will provide you with instructions to access your Trauma Specialists Training Institute (TSTI) library where you'll find the course Zoom meeting link and course resources. Please note, course resources will not be available until the day of training.

Yes, you will need to attend the entire training. Your attendance will be tracked via Zoom. Please keep your webcam on during all live training sessions. This is the equivalent of “being in the room” for an in-person training and is required for continuing education hours.

Trauma Specialist Training Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7268. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Trauma Specialists Training Institute is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. NBCC Clock Hours: 21.

There is no recording of the live event available to participants in lieu of attendance and all participant information is confidential.

EMDR Basic Training Refresher will be brought to you by Jamie Sedgwick, LCPC, NCC. Jamie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor and has worked in the mental health field for 10 years. She has experience with a wide range of issues including PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and behavioral issues. She has interest in working with teens (age 15+) and adults. She specializes in Borderline Personality Disorder, attachment and complex PTSD with a passion for helping individuals learn and incorporate healthy skills to create a life worth living. She is trained in DBT and Neurofeedback and is EMDR certified.

If you have to cancel your training, you will be able to use any funds put toward this training to join a future training with Trauma Specialists Training Institute.  We do not offer refunds for training registrations.
