After completing this training, participants will be able to:

Define affect tolerance, window of tolerance, ego strength and state shift.

Describe the structural dissociation model.

Explain steps of Resource Development Protocol.

Name at least 3 important RDIs to include in Phase 2 of EMDR.

Demonstrate the ability to utilize Resource Development Protocol.

Explain 3 presentations of successful Resource Development.

Identify 4 indications that a client requires additional preparation before being ready for Resource Development Installation.

List the appropriate steps to take after an unsuccessful attempt at Resource Development Installation.

List at least 3 ways to increase the likelihood of successful Resource Development Installation.

Demonstrate the ability to create a treatment plan for Phase 2 of EMDR

This advanced training includes lecture and practicum components led by an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. The training focuses on treatment planning for Phase 2 of EMDR by increasing understanding of structural dissociation, affect tolerance and ego strength with an emphasis on conceptualizing the diagnostic value of Resource Development Installation. Full EMDR Training required.

Jamie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor and has worked in the mental health field for 10 years. She has experience with a wide range of issues including PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and behavioral issues. She has interest in working with teens (age 15+) and adults. She specializes in Borderline Personality Disorder, attachment and complex PTSD with a passion for helping individuals learn and incorporate healthy skills to create a life worth living. She is trained in DBT and Neurofeedback and is EMDR certified.

If you’ve lost your Certificate of Completion from a course you attended with us, you may request a digital replacement.

Important: If you request a replacement Certificate of Completion from Trauma Specialists Training Institute but did not attend training with us, your payment will be applied toward administrative research and will not be refunded.

Notes About EMDRIA Certification Letters

We are currently reviewing the process for requesting consultant letters for EMDRIA Certification and working to streamline this process.

At this time, participants are encouraged to contact their consultants directly, using the contact information provided in the EMDR Circle Dashboard. No fees apply to first time documentation requests.
