The Path to Becoming an EMDR Approved Consultant
The next step after certification, and you don't have to do it alone.
Moving from doing EMDR to teaching it is a real shift, and the requirements to become an Approved Consultant can be hard to map on your own. The CIT Track gives you the modules, the consultation of consultation, and the sponsoring consultant you need to get there.
See the Two LevelsOne requirement to join: you must be EMDR Certified through EMDRIA. If you are not certified yet, the EMDR Circle is the place to start.
Where Most Clinicians Get Stuck
Certification tells you that you can do this work well. Becoming a consultant asks something different of you, and the path there is rarely spelled out. These are the places clinicians tend to stall.
Finding a sponsor, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant willing to oversee your hours
Making sense of the requirements for consultation of consultation hours
Building a consultation agreement and a plan you can actually use
Naming your consultation style and your strengths as a consultant
Doing it alone, without a structure or a group to lean on
The CIT Track is built to meet you at each of these.
