Understanding The EMDR Circle Membership Levels

The EMDR Circle was created to answer two questions that kept coming up in our training community: "What if clinicians had 24/7 access to learning resources?" and "What if we could build a true community of EMDR learners?" The result is a membership platform designed to support clinicians at every stage of their EMDR journey — from newly trained to pursuing certification.
Three Membership Tiers
The EMDR Circle offers three distinct membership levels, each designed to meet clinicians where they are and support them in moving toward their professional goals.
Basic Membership
The Basic tier provides access to the Learning Library and community features. This level is ideal for clinicians who have completed EMDR Basic Training and want ongoing support, resources, and connection as they integrate EMDR into their practice. Basic members benefit from the collective wisdom of the community and the self-paced learning materials available in the library.
Consultation Plus
The Consultation Plus tier includes everything in the Basic membership plus access to group consultation sessions. For clinicians working to complete their consultation hours or those who simply want ongoing case consultation to strengthen their skills, this tier provides structured, expert-facilitated support alongside the community and library resources.
Certification Track
The Certification Track is designed for clinicians who are actively pursuing EMDRIA certification through the Consultant in Training (CIT) pathway. This tier includes all Basic and Consultation Plus features plus specialized support for the certification process, including guidance on requirements, documentation, and preparation for the credential.
The Learning Library
At the heart of the EMDR Circle is the Learning Library — a growing collection of resources available to all members. The library includes:
- Demonstration videos: Watch experienced EMDR clinicians and consultants demonstrate protocols, techniques, and interventions in real or simulated sessions
- Mini-trainings: Focused, digestible trainings on specific topics — from working with dissociation to adapting EMDR for children
- Worksheets and handouts: Practical tools you can use directly with clients or for your own professional development
- Scripts and protocols: Step-by-step guides for specific EMDR interventions, resource development exercises, and specialized applications
The library is continuously updated with new content, ensuring that members always have access to the latest techniques, research, and clinical wisdom.
Community Features
EMDR can be a lonely modality to practice, especially for clinicians in private practice who lack colleagues trained in the same approach. The EMDR Circle addresses this isolation through several community-building features:
- Private Facebook Group: A dedicated space for members to ask questions, share experiences, celebrate wins, and support each other through clinical challenges
- Coffee & Chat sessions: Informal virtual meetups where members can connect with peers in a relaxed, collegial atmosphere
- Q&A sessions: Structured opportunities to bring questions to experienced consultants and trainers
Beginner Cohort Group
For clinicians who are brand new to EMDR, the Beginner Cohort Group offers a supported entry point. This cohort moves through the early stages of EMDR integration together, building skills and confidence in a peer group that shares the same learning curve. The cohort format normalizes the challenges of learning a new modality and provides accountability and encouragement during the steepest part of the learning curve.
The CIT Track
For clinicians ready to pursue EMDRIA certification, the CIT Track provides structured guidance through the credentialing process. This includes understanding EMDRIA requirements, documenting clinical hours and consultation, and preparing for the responsibilities that come with holding the certification credential. Members on this track benefit from the mentorship of consultants who have navigated the process themselves.
The EMDR Circle is more than a membership — it is a professional home for clinicians who believe that learning is a lifelong journey and that we do our best work when we do it together.
