Your Instructor
Ruthann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of clinical experience within medical settings that include: hospitals, dialysis clinics, hospice, long-term care settings, and mental health clinics. Ruthann has worked with diverse populations to include children, adults, individuals with disabilities, families, groups, and those within the geriatric population. She is experienced in working with a wide range of issues to include anxiety, depression, life transitions, complex medical diagnosis/challenges, grief/loss, and end of life issues. Ruthann has compassion for everyone’s journey towards healing and believes each person’s experience is unique. Ruthann is empathic, intuitive, and creative. Ruthann works from a cognitive-behavioral and a strengths perspective approach. Ruthann is EMDR trained.
